Native Model Studio formed in 2003 out of Kayenta, Arizona by Larry Price and Brandi Jade.

Native Model Studio expanded into Canada based out of Winnipeg, MB operated by Lisa Muswagon. `Native` meaning your place of origin, `Model`, setting an example to your peers and being a role model, model to your creative talent, `Studio` is where the art takes place. Native Model Studio USA|Canada conducts model searches and offers model training and workshops. Native Model Studio also organizes fashion shows with components of music  from First Nation, Metis & Inuit Artists. We achieve this through our networks and contact database. Our contacts consist  of talented Photographers, Artists, Jewellers and Designers with an aim to collaborate and showcase our talent at an International level.



Our mission is to empower aspiring models, provide support and create experiences through Model Workshops and Photography. We believe by providing model training workshops we are creating and promoting an outlet for confidence and self-esteem. Our vision is to assist youth in developing their dreams. We want to be able to answer that question of what it takes. We would like to inspire cultural component at the same time boost confidence, self esteem and authenticity amongst our Aboriginal People.

Native Model Studio workshops are instructed by individuals who carry years of studies, knowledge and experiences in the industry. We provide a broad range general knowledge to help introduce the basics of modeling and photography at the same time giving the experience of what it takes to be a model. The workshops are very informative and encourages the empowerment of our Youth to lead a healthy lifestyle while taking the first steps into learning about the industry.  Native Model Studio takes great pride in the service they provide along with showcasing our many authentic talents that promotes Fashion, Lifestyle and Entertainment.
   

Since the first release in 2005, Native Model Studio Calendars have been popular and are a successful sell out every year. Interest is expressed at an International level. Every year we conduct a nation wide mode search where 12 females are selected by our creative team. Our selection process looks for personality, self-presentation and a role model. The photo’s are clean professional images with top quality control. Each model represents a month with a strong high end fashion pose and the back will consist of each calendar mode in their traditional regalia representing their tribe.
