Edwin was born in The Pas, Manitoba, Canada. His roots are in the Mathias Colomb Cree Nation. 

As a child, Edwin was greatly inspired by his father, a wildlife and visual artist.

Edwin enjoys developing his technique and style using various mediums such as charcoal, pencil, ink pencil crayon, water color, and acrylic paint.

His scenes of wildlife and nature in general are greatly influenced by his immersion in his First Nations culture and traditions.

Edwin's journey involves the teaching and understanding of his ancestors way of life. 

Edwin has participated in trade shows, art displays, and conferences throughout North America and Europe.

His work is held in high esteem by art collectors, businesses, aboriginal and non-aboriginal organizations.
