Carl Fontaine
Carl Fontaine is an Ojibwa/Cree from Sagkeeng First Nations. He has studied Advertising Art at the college level and Fine Arts at the university level.
Carl has been commissioned to do many of our historical figures of the past and present for international clientele.
He works in mixed media, laying a color ground wash and then skillfully 'building up' the subject through layers of watercolor, chalk, oil pastel, colored pencil, pencil and acrylic.
Carl enjoys a close relationship with Peace Hills Trust of Edmonton, Alberta where he has held first place prize winner on more than one of their yearly exhibitions.
