Traditional Art Forms are Alive and Well!

Bison Promotions is part of a community whose main goal is to assist First Nations, Metis, and Inuit artists to continue to be 'Keepers of Cultures'.  Art has been an integral part of our cultures in dance, storytelling, music, and the visual arts.  Aboriginal artists see themselves as having a proactive role in diverse communities.  Their artistic gifts help to secure the cultural knowledge, spirit and traditions of their communities and nations.

Art helps to shape and ensure elements of a culture remain alive as well as increasing the interest, awareness and knowledge.  Like a visual language, art has always been there.  In some situations however, it has not been recognized because there are people who still are not familiar with it.  Bison Promotions strives to honor its commitment to further accentuate the presence of our gifted artists across the nation, in our communities and international venues.

Since the first paintings on rocks, the same force moves the artists to create new works today. Their new images will always be connected and rooted in the visions of their people.  "Our artists' works are featured on covers of books,as illustrations in books as well as many magazines and newspapers, games ,murals,a wide variety of school materials and as a tool for political and social commentary.  Bison Promotions presents to all, our artitsts' paintings of their people in all their beauty, dignity, humor and tragedy.
